Mamba Max 7700Kv
Im getting the MMM 7700KV for my hyper 7 soon, how long can i run it with a 3 cell lipo without the motor overheating

I would guess about 30 seconds. That motor is designed for lightweight cars and low voltage.

Have you looked at some of the conversion kits? That would help you get familar with the pieces and type of motors, lipos and escs being used.
The MM 7700 is intended for something light weight like a rustler and 2S lipo and other light weight 10th scales.
Your hyper is going to prob be running 4S lipo and will need a 8th sized esc.

OHH ok i didnt realize it was for 10 scales
what about the 2200kv motor, how many volts can it take for about 20 minute runs

this'll give you some idea about the MM7700- Currently I have one installed in Tamiya Mini Cooper w/2s 4000 and it'll do about 18-20 min (depending how I drive it) but at 40+ mph - which is flying for something that size and hard to keep it on the ground, 
the batt goes real fast.

How many volts can i use on a MMM 2200kv for about a 15-20 minute run without burning the motor up?
Am i asking this right

With the 2200 you will likely want a 4-5s pack. That means a 4cell or 5cell Lipo. That is 14.8 volts or 18.5 volts. The 5s may be a bit too much, but it will fly!

how come on the website is says the motor can hold a max of 25 volts

Sure! you can put a 6 cell lipo which is 22.2 Volts on one. But it will be so fast its not controllable. Or maybe 20 Nimh cells for 24Volts! The extra weight would cause parts to break much faster, and slow it down alot. The 25V rating is for speed freaks like myself who want to put one in a 1/10th scale car and stack batteries up to see what we can explode! Thats really all that raing is good for. stick with 14.8-18.5 Volts and you will go plenty fast to beat nitros and still be driveable.

Will the 6s lipo burn the motor up? and wont it give me longer drive time than a 4s or 5s
