Where do you guys get your tyres from? I have a local seller for Xceeds but not sure if they're any good?

rc4less tires have good traction at the asphalt tracks I run on but the rears do seem to wear out a bit quicker than others like BSR.

I was using pink 30 rears, I could try a harder compound but havent. Maybe for my next order I'll try harder rears.

Did your kits come with spur gears? If so what pitch and size? I have no clue on rollout. I see it's a black art. Could some one point me to a starting rollout for a track about 150ft down the straight- 10.5t on 2S. I'll be using BSR foam out the box just to get a feel for the car. I don't want to get out on my maiden voyage just to find out that the car is maxed out doing 25mph down the straight or worse yet fry a motor because I'm way over-geared.

That's where I get my tires from. Great product. The only thing is, those guys are in Ga. The shipping is kinda high, but they still beat the others prices.

They're wearing because they're gripping.

Thanks for the TQ site- makes rollout calculations a breeze.
I see i'm going to need a stable of pinions in pan car racing lol.
I guess I'm going to grab a handful of pinions to get me in the 50 to 60mm rollout range and actually run the car checking temps to fine tune.
