RC10B3 nitro conversion??
Just wondering if it anyone had tried to do a electric-nitro conversion, what it entails, and any suggestions that would make my life a lil easier.

If u manage it then congratulations, but it would be very difficult. It would probably be cheaper to buy a RC10 GT and rig some buggy suspension arms on it.
I don't see how the conversion from electric to nitro would work without VERY serious modification, IMHO it would be a waste of time.

I dont know about the whole waste of time part... I'm in love with the buggy chassis, and i believe with a few mod's I would have the car of my dreams. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Just a couple of points;
Where will you put the engine? The motor is hung out of the back of the the car for a reason, but don't forget that an IC engine weighs more than an electric motor.
Given that it is 2wd where will you manage to fit a brake in? The obvious place is next to the spur gear, but you will already have a really wide rear of the car, an IC engine is about 3" long including the clutch housing.
Where will the exhaust run? With a 90 degree manifold the length of the engine is extended by another 1.5". And where will you run the pipe to, through the rear suspension?
If you want to avoid all these problems then you will have to move the engine to between the wheels. Then you have the problem of how to fit everything in. Plus you will be making the car far more unstable as you are removing all that weight from over the rear wheels.
Good luck if you attempt it, but I think you will find it incrediably difficult.

Guy at my LHS built a buggy using old school gt chassis, old RC-10 rear arms., and bolted up an old rc-10 nose plate and front end. It flew.
Problems with converting a B3 is that it would have too much weight behind the rear wheels, the plastic chassis probably wouldnt hold up to the engine and it wouldnt have the big metal heatsink of a chassis.
