Durango DEX210 Thread
I use Lunsford Punishers with Losi ball cups and ball studs. I broke a rear arm into 3 parts and the turnbuckles didn't bend and a cup didn't pop off.

I've had a very busy week so unfortunately no more work on the new 210 front shock tower design. I doubt I'll get to it this weekend either. I need to do some work on my 1/18 scale Latrax Rally first. I race those little things at an indoor track in a spec class. It's a lot of fun. I also need to do more work on my oval car design. I've got too many projects. I think I need to convince Chris that Durango needs a dirt oval car!
He's in this thread! I've seen his conversion. I have an entire car.
I just bought the dex210 conversion from him. Have not run the car yet but it is good quality material and fit and finish. One thing that is lacking though is having to unscrew 4 screws to get the battery out. Definitely not quick change but its not bad enough for me to be a deal breaker. I like how the battery mounts across the chassis. Hoping that this will give the rear more grip. Performance always outweighs convenience for me.

My wife has a DEX210v1 and she keeps breaking the head off one of the rear droop screws. I don't have this problem on any of my Durango trucks so I'm a bit stumped. Thoughts?
Sorry, I couldn't resist... I'm just jealous that your wife actually shares the hobby with you. But how the hell does she break the rear droop screws is a big mystery to me. I don't even see how anything could come into contact with that!

Interesting, maybe use a normal set screw?

trying to remember the location of the rear droop screws, could she be banging it up against something on uptravel of the suspension arm? Maybe and odd flex somewhere?
Kinda hard to diagnose the issue without more info.
What surface, shorty or full pack. Temp of the track.
Yes harder springs and droop where mentioned, someone mentioned front tires. but it could be the diff, shock oil, roll centers, etc.

Can you be more specific with your settings? Or list them out.
