At the end of the day it all comes down to optimum gearing, car setup, skill & ability along with pinch of luck.
Sure, I may not make it to a podium finish but I'm satisfied with my results considering what gear I have along with my skills, and I've had fun doing it, which some may have forgotten at times.

Cheers

Which Turnigy packs are u running? I have one of the early hard case car packs which is about two years old and is one of the best I've used.

I'm using 5600 mh 50-100c nanotech Turnigy packs which are roar approved, they're the best packs I've owned so far, and are great value for around $40 a pack.

Cheers
Rob.

Is that just the ROAR list and not the BRCA and the sister motors of additional locally approved AARCMCC motors too? If so, does that apply to Sportsman as well for the series, or just F1?

Well if you follow the rules it only states ROAR approved motors. There's no need to complicate the issue. This is F1, not sportsman. If people do not have a ROAR motor then they need to get one.

To be fair, Daniel is right in away it makes it easier to run the meeting if both list are the same. Its an oversite on my behalf and will rectify it in the rules set. We went through this this time last year and it made it easier all year.

Thanks you Daniel look forward to catching up at the Summer Nats.

I know I'm difficult and pedantic, but occasionally I hope it's useful.

The Summer Nats is a good fun event. I missed last year because my car was playing up. This year I have a lift! See you there.

With the first round approaching quite quickly I thought it would be best to let everyone know which way the timing will go between RC3 and RC4 decoders.
After talking to quite a few people we will be changing over to an RC4 system for all rounds. Meaning that MRT and clone transponder will be banned from the series. If a driver hasn't an AMB or MYlaps transponder they will have to run a club transponder for this years Challenge Cup.

Hi Josh, the entry form has been sent to Rebecca for the clubs approval over the weekend but the online entry form will go up this coming weekend.
