The travel of the spring when measuring it is absolutely the most critical item to the spring test. The spring tester that "Redbull" has shown in his post I built just for comparing springs to make it as perfect pairs as possible. What my son Kyle, myself and a handful of freinds have learned about RC springs is amazing in the last week since I built the tester. This was definitley not a cheap venture at all to build. The GForce tester for the money is probably a very good tool, but being consisitent on how you test will determine what you learn. With my instrument I can get precise measurement on spring free height which is needed to know first to match consisitent springs. Then in my initial test I used 1mm increments to measure and took those readings. Not all springs are equal there are some better than others that's for sure. Like "Redbull" has stated knowing where your spring is starting under compression and to how far it is traveling is important to know when doing the test.

no one really knows... my guess is that he probably asked for more money after winning the worlds and was declined. Since his contract will end this year someone offered him more money

Hey everyone, I'm going to post my BD7 2015 on the national thread but I thought I'd check here first to see who might want the opportunity to pop for it. PM me.

Has anyone tried the short arms yet on carpet? Is it a lot of difference?

Hi, I notice your running the X20,what brand pinion are you running,I'm finding if I put the RW pinion on the way you have yours, and how it should be,the grub screw won't hit the flat spot on the motor shaft if I line it up with the spur,if I turn the pinion round so it lines up with the spur, the grub screw is only half on the shaft, not good!

Could anybody suggest me what kind of option parts should use on BD7 2015 in case of TITC track of this year, RC addict?

I think the only option main parts should use is short arm conversion kit.
About using FMC, i am still doubted.
X brace shoule be removed, i think.
Best regards

For those who are running the BD series and wanting to get the most out of their chassis setup. Check out RC Crew Chief and the amazing product review.

Thanks buddy they look perfect
Just Puting my Roche Edition together, bloody nice I have to say,
I was surprised how tight the drive train was though,I just had the diffs and belts down,so I rigged up the motor and just let it run slow for a couple of hours,it's all jolly nice now ,Iv put a then shim to stop the piston moving, drilled a 1mm hole in the shock top and gone for the black bladder and double blue o ring.now I just need a good starting setup for a technical med/high grip carpet track
