Not big news, but still news. Notice that the 408 in the first pic (next to the truggy) has the short front tower/shocks/Pro Line wing, whereas the car in the subsequent pics has the tall tower/shocks & Durango wing.

Perhaps, but I think that if anything, the Serpent debacle has highlighted the importance of thorough testing BEFORE going to market. I mean sure, they got their car out first, and cultivated many disgruntled customers along the way.

The way to weed out home/basement e-bay dealers is just distributor due diligence when opening up accounts. Open up only bona fide retailers. If that retailer has an online store as well so be it. They are still an actual real hobby shop and if they invest in online selling for their store they should be able to sell anything they have in the store online.

The Serpent has early issues like a lot of other buggies.

The one thing about it is, I had a Losi 2.0 and a MBX6 before this Serpent. The Serpent has been .5-1 sec faster a lap. Servo issues or not this thing is stupid fast. I do believe though since Gerd designed both buggies, I believe the DNX408 will be the refined version, and really going to be an epic buggy. Stupid fast like the serpent, but without the issues.
