Don't like it? Are you kidding? I love it. I want more.

Tracks and RCTech have the exact same audience. It seems to make sense to have the same sort of rules.

I understand that you're hard set in how you think children should be adjusted, and see you're a great rule follower. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm more of a rule challenger and proponent for change for the better.

Like I said, you're not wrong in your thoughts. I simply think it's not the only solution. Specifically, the solution is probably a blend of solutions .. and that's where my involvement ends with this particular part of the discussion, because there's really no where else for this to go nor need to go.

Read my first post again...if I didn't like it here, I'm sure the moderators would provide me a refund for the cost I paid for membership..($0...)...

Form a private club (like this website) and then yes, you're able to restrict certain rights.

Platform to rage? If you think this is rage, then you're a fairly soft person.

It's not the public's job to raise your kid or teach them right from wrong. Even if your kid hears swearing they shouldn't repeat it if you've taught them well.

With that being said, it shows a lack of class swearing in front of kids.

Its not just Rc Racing. Driving your real car , at a game, racing your car or Bike , or even at your kids little league game. Its everywhere. And the problem as "i witnessed it as a kid " , it starts out as swearing or just talking B.S , until you piss someone off & then it goes to the next level.. And then the Police get involved! And then your local Track or other gets shut down. As the old expression goes " Theres always a few that ruin it for the majority". My 2 cents

I'm aware of what you paid for an elite membership ($0). As far as refund, lmao, not likely. Like I told you before, some are here to help make the site better, and some not so much. Mainly here to hear their own voices. Lol no I'm not soft, been on the internet for 25+ years, seen many people come and go.

I think maybe we should just leave kids locked in their houses forever watching Nick Jr so that they're never subjected to anything that they'll hear or experience in their adult life. I used to hang out with my dad's friends at the rc track all the time when I was little, and I heard all of the language you can imagine. One day I cursed like the guys I heard. My dad said "never in front of your mom and never at school". And guess what, I grew up to be something other than a criminal! Can you believe it? All it took was a little parenting.

This will blow your mind, too! I played violent video games as a kid and never put on a trench coat on Hitler's birthday.

How about instead of making other people change, you do a little parenting. It's not society's job to raise your dumb kid.

Nobody is asking anyone to raise or teach our kids nothing . Just keep the garbage and profanity away from OUR kids. When we go to a place that caters to racers like us of all ages AND kids ......and kids are usually accompanied by their mothers . A grown man should know better and be able to talk like a respectable HUMAN that lives in TODAYS world unles of course if you people associate Rc tracks and Rc racing with 1930's smoke filled pool halls fool of undesirables and shady characters who swear every other word . It's not complicated , I'm raising and teaching my own kid but if you happen to be near my kid or his mom try to keep the degenerate inside you quiet. As you get older you are supposed to get wiser not more out of control. I'm not pointing the finger at anyone , I just want to be understood ...... Understand ?

There's so much wrong in this, it's amazing.

How many people here have personally experienced "1930's pool halls"? I have a feeling you haven't, nor have the majority here.

The biggest irony - you live in NY, I've never heard or dealt with a worse populace of people in my life. As for people conforming to your method of communication when around you - do you carry a sign, or do you specifically confront every single person around your wife and children?

Dude , so much wrong with your stupid thought prosses . Your statement about people from New York proves how IGNORANT you are. I'm no liberal and I'm no angel but I'm aware of my surroundings and the people who are in that space at times. I control my self and my mouth when around others . That doesn't mean I don't curse , I use judgement and logic as well as common sense as much as possible .

You just wanna have the last word on this topic, the topic is swearing at the track. Not raise my child. You are trying to bring freedom of speach into this when its just a matter of knowing when to be decent . You insult me and people from New York because you are probably closed minded and racist and see life thru generalities. You think u don't need to change anything to better this world , instead you ask us to change and you blame us for your lack of class. Go ahead blame me because you have no class. I'll take it

Thank u sir. It's so simple but people make it complicated. I am a pro freedom of speach guy.... But I'm not a pro offending people guy. It's such a waste of energy trying to inform people who don't open their mind to others point of view. Good weekend to all

And that's exactly what you're doing here, right? Opening your mind to other points of view?

They should play porn at Chuck E Cheese, when parents complain just tell them to teach their kids to ignore it. It's not a big deal, right?
