I got the CRC rubber tires in. I like them, they seem real sticky.

Thanx Tim3. That's close to what I was looking for. I'm trying to get my 10L2 down to 200 mm. Just an experiment. I have a 10L (235mm), thought I'd play around with the 10L2, just to see what I come up with. This is what I got so far. Keep in mind that I don't have any tools (such as a tire lathe), that are accurate enough to do a good job. This was done with a hand held drill, utility knife and hack saw blade.

That body is for a 180mm car where the LM1 chassis is for their 20mm body.

hey, I am thinking of moving to another part of this country that likes these. when I got into this there were awesome F1 cars running out local track. So when I got involved I chose LeMans. I got into quads for a while and now there are no F1's and LM-1's. I just sped read this forum and noticed that is the phenomenon of this type of RC racing. I spent many a year watching F-1 and LeMans (real race cars) all over the place and not interested in the other types of RC racing, they are not real. Any suggestions!

Sometimes you need to put the car on the track for others to see. I've done that and it helps to spark interest.

Well, I went for a run on asphalt with the others, and I promptly destroyed the spur gear.

So does anyone know where I can pick up a few extra spurs? Everywhere I looked it told me they were out of stock.

Failing that, is there any compatible spurs out there?
