How durable is this car? Can it take the driving style of us that are less than perfect?

It has only been released this month , so a little early for anyone to comment.
Having said that, the Sakura Zero that I own is pretty tough.
Maybe not quite as strong as an xray, but have a look at the kit price and the spares pricing.
RCMART even have the kit with a cheap 2.4gig radio for US$109.90 !!!

I'm thinking of getting one of these as a spares car for my Sakura.
Possibly to run it in our 21.5 spec class for a few weeks first though .
Now THAT would be fun , beating cars that cost 6x the price.

just got a Sakura S from HKS hobby... the $500 tc will be afraid of me now haha! drive like you stole it! no fear

on a serious note... the last time i saw a competitive car (at least it looks competitive) at this price was the Xpress... that was like 10+ years ago...

can't wait to see how it runs at the track

getting mine soon, and I've got the sway bar kit ready to be installed. I was thinking about the narrow chassis as well, and alum bulkhead covers. I'm a bit skeptical that the composite ones can't hold lateral forces that the ball stud exerts and will just strip. Not forgetting alum hexes too
