Just thought I'd post a quick heads-up here...
A few pages back in this thread I asked if anyone knew of a PDF reader that would allow us to change the setup sheets and save the changes... Adobe reader doesn't save changes, and their Acrobat software is a bit pricey at $299... Mike Haynes made the suggestion to fill in the form using Adobe Reader, and then using the snapshot tool to save the completed setup sheet as a "gif" file. That works, but it's tedious to edit the gif if you make minor changes...
I've found a freeware pdf reader called Foxit reader which allows you to make changes to the pdf forms and save and/or print the changes. I downloaded it from Tucows...http://www.tucows.com
Just wanted to mention it here in case it could be useful for anyone else.

When you save the alterred sheet, does it put red text saying 'trial version' on the sheet?

Gearing Question
Hi there,
What is everyone running for gearing with a 17.5 and rubber tires. All the reading I have been doing people are usually running 3-4 FDR. This looks to be a possible issue unless someone has a suggestion. The largest pinion I can get locally is a 47 and the smallest spur I have seen for the losi is a 118 which only give a FDR of 4.59. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Chris

I just started running 17.5 rubber. I'm used to running 13.5 foam. I'm running a 4.2 fdr on our track. 66x43 carpet track. Running 112/48 to get the ratio. Using a prs spur gear and the prs adapter.

25mm is the right size, the novak, much more, or speed passion (25mm) fit right on.

does anyone know what a good gear ratio is for a 17.5 with foam tires on a high bite track. I was told to gear it around 4.2-4.6 fdr but i dont really know how to calculate that.
