Will the new 13.5/17.5 have adjustable timing?

I had mine on my SP motor checker last night and the V3 13.5 had 5000 more RPM then the V2 13.5 with zero timing advance on the motor, it was about 7200 more with the timing fully advanced.

Being it was on the motor checker I had the DRRS maxed out on level 9, and the timing on the ESC maxed out as well (26.25 degrees) I was running the 205G software on the SP GT 2.0 LPF

although rpm is up there is probably a trade off in torque.
What size rotor does the new motor use 12.3 or 12.5 ?

I've been using a S/P GT L/P on the oval at my local club races.

Two races ago, I started having an issue that almost felt like a cogging...

on throttle it doesn't allow the motor to spin up ... it's like jerky, and lacks RPM's until it gets spinning

(This is w/ a 21.5 motor)

It's like a huge lag.

I thought maybe it was just a solder connection, so I resoldered, and unplugged and replugged the sensor harness.

(Just in case) I even changed Motor and Battery.

I have not changed over to the NEW Super Capacitor yet...

[b]Q[/q]

Is there anything else I may want/need to look at?

I have not re-setup the ESC yet, I may do that before the next race...

(The LAG kind of reminded me of the feel of a LIPO CUT OFF with a run down NiMh battery) We're using 2s Lipo.

Default Setting up my SP GT 2.0 Low profile

Just a couple quick question, consider me a new to brushless..

I am running a cyclone with novak ss13.5, rubbers and a 4900 trakpower lipo.

Correct me if I am wrong using the little box I have set my lipo cut off to selection 5, 3.2 per cell. The lipo says not to drop it bellow 6v so 3.2 per cell is 6.4 lipo cut off?

Any other advice on setting this up would be appreciated; tweeking the other setting.
I do have a speedpassion 13.5 on the way. Should that be set up different to the Novak?
I have read back an understand this unit does not do brushed. I was planning on setting up another spare chassis to run black can 540. If I get the older 1.1 version of this speedo can I run brushed? or wiser to look at another model?

I'm not an expert on the GT2.0 ESC -- mine is only a month old or so, but I've been running Novak for about 2 years... Regarding setup differences between the SP13.5 and the SS13.5, keep in mind that the timing on the motor is adjustable on the Novak, and that can change how you want to set the timing adavance on the GT12.0...

OH -- for the brushed motor, consider getting a good used brushed only ESC... they are dirt cheap now, with everyone changing to brushless, and they are usually a bit smaller and lighter than brushless ESC's...

adam, i know you can see updates and such from speedpassion regarding only 2 new software settings, but what about the previous software paramaters?

you updated my esc for my buggy, but im taking it to my Tamiya ta05ifsr and noticed it doesnt have that extreme low end punch i used to have. im sure it has to do with the software. how can i see the software list and what changes were made?
