Bit of conflicting information and images out there. From RedRC.
"Also part of the package is a new steering crank design, Velvet-coated shock absorbers, front straight and rear gull-wing A-arms as well as a new high downforce cab forward bodyshell."
Hopefully we'll get some clarity soon.

That's not conflicting. Same package as they released with the original rb6 straight fronts and full wing rears. Only difference would be if they update geometry on the rear. But otherwise the same for years now. Flat rears were an option carried over from the rb5 and former 4wd buggies.

Not sure about the rest of you, but I'm pleased with the upgrades. Kyosho gave us what we asked for. Some will want a totally new kit, I feel it's not nessesary. My car was always good

Agreed, when I was looking at the "new" B6 manual I thought I was looking at an rb6 manual. Looks like they copied the general RB6 design on the front end especially.

I'm just happy I can get the dang wide chassis and a factory 3 gear / laydown. Woo!!
Side note: Any way we can get this changed to a wiki thread?

Can't wait. Oh and MSRP is $415 presently from what I've been told.

I like the new chassis and gearboxes, looks like I will be grabbing some parts and waiting for a lightweight chassis to be released The longer wheelbase is something I like about the RZ6, good to see it found its way into the 6.6.
My question is what exactly did they did to update the steering crank? Are the holes placed differently or do they have a different angle… The pics on LiveRC are great but I can’t make out what change they made to the steering to get an improvement.
State of the art for the U.S. buggy market seems to be multiple battery options, multiple gearbox options, optimized suspension setups for dirt and turf, superior shocks and improved tuning range and I think we are doing pretty well. It’s hard to be a fan of dirt and turf kits when they can put it all in one box. This update should be competitive.

I figured that would be the cost, that was the price of the 2015 rb6.. Nice not having to upgrade our parts stash. I could upgrade my old car but im do for a new kit. My rb6 was once a rb5
