In the past few weeks GT seems to be flavor of the month for new entrants. VTA still runs also but thats your choice to make. There is always someone to help you with anything you might need in guidance.

Is there a specific wheel and tire that must be run for GT? If so what is it? Will any 21.5t motor work with ESC in Blinky mode?

tires the gravity gt tires are spec

any 21.5 without tuning rotor per the USGT rules and blinky yes
