I just bought a used ta07 and the diffs eaked out and the belt is full of oil. What can be used without drying out the belt?

I have wax and grease remover and quite a bit of other cleaners that I use on the real car but don't really want to use that stuff unless it's safe for the parts.

what are you guys using?

Some electronics cleaner should be just fine.

People have done lots of things to belts, they are pretty resilient, the only thing I would caution using on it would be something really harsh like brake cleaner.

Water, soap and a brush should do its job. I would not use any sharp cleaners or solvents (brake cleaner ect.).

Thanks guys. I used dish soap. Cleaned it up good. I'm just giving the car a once over before giving it a go.
