Hi Cristian,
Would it be possible to purchase the RSD7 full conversion with the aluminum chassis instead of the carbon one?

Yes, we just have to get alloy chassis back in stock. We sold out of the first batch of the gen 2 already.

I am making more chassis next week. If anyone wants '13s/'14s/'15s, let me know and I'll get you guys squared away. I am extremely happy with my '14.5 conversion, aka RX4.5. It is every bit as fast as any of the '15s that I have been up against.
I ran my aluminum chassis RX4 again today with a mod motor. I'm really liking this chassis on med-high grip carpet. The car is very predictable and easy to drive all things considered.

I am a little surprised finding that it works better for me with the layshaft screws in making the rear stiffer but is still very planted in the rear. I could never get the back of the car to work well with the layshaft screws in the CF chassis.

Are the RSD battery hold down kits for Xray T4 going to be back in stock any time soon?
Thanks Terry

Yes, the hold downs should be ready around the end of the month, maybe a bit earlier.

What are peoples current choice for Reflex springs with Xrays on high grip carpet.
It will be for Mod on an open track similar to this;

I had 2.5-2.8's on the front and 2.6's at the back.

I would think a combination of pink, blue and black should get you there.

I do use that combination occasionally, but they tend to make for a safe and easy to drive car, not a fast one. Even if I try pink/pink I tend to lose out on some of the tighter stuff.

Cristian, will the TRG side damper tube (F104X1) work on an Xray F1?

I'd like a possible alternative to the X1's side damper if possible.

I honestly don't know. It works on a Tamiya and on the speed passion cars. However, with side tubes, you can replace and modify the ball ends on the to make them work on different cars.

Thanks, I was a bit more worried about it's length, as if it's too short it would limit travel in one direction.

Is it possible to measure the length of those TRG damper tubes to see if they'll work?
Someone on FB has said the X1 side shock range is 67-75mm

You should be able to get about 55-80 mm with the stock ends that come with it. If you play with the ends you should be able to get some other lengths in the neighborhood.

This is with a ball to edge of thread ends of 8 and 12mm I measured.

Not quite end of the month yet.

They should be ready next week. They are currently on the way to us from the factory.
