Cool I feel ya

I totaly understand... I feel your Pain. Brother it's all going to be OK. You and I will enjoy our 3.0 E while they wish they were Racing a TLR E Buggy. Remember the SCTE 2.0 took a lil while to come out did'nt it.
You can update as you wish ,and when you do just sell your chassi to a nitro guy.
Dont even sweat it,(bigbadbasher) we are all in the TLR family.. and ALL you who rubb it in our faces because we ar Loyal TLR guys an buy what comes out because we trust the company we love.
Take a step back and look at your self.

They could of said we are working on an E version instead of letting all the people buy the nitro version and convert it knowing damn good and well they was about to release an E version but failed to mention that. There is a difference in needing money to keep the business and hobby alive and screwing loyal customers. Justifying it by saying "you should of known" isn't very justifiable imho.

Either way like stated above, it is only money. In the short 4 or 5 months i been in this hobby i have dropped some SERIOUS $ in this hobby (it's easy to do). I just feel shafted is all and im sure im not the only one.

If they would have announced it three weeks ago the guy that converted his three weeks before that would have been mad.... it is a never ending cycle, you see what I mean? The couple of boys that race around here kick all the guys with the purpose built electric cars butts every weekend so It isn't always the car, heck they even run Dynamite RC speedo and motors.

I went ahead and ordered the new kit.. Might as well dump another stack in this hobby! The differences between the Nitro and E version is pretty drastic, you can see plain as day the E version is going to corner better than a converted one..

So the center bones can't just be swapped front to rear on this new e chassis like on the 2.0?

we found that with the change in angle, to give the appropriate amount of forward to rearward movement for the bone, the one had to be shortened some.

i added everything up at horizon prices you are looking at 400$ convert to the 8ight e 3.0 from the nitro. with that being said i just ordered a 3.0 e instead of trying to convert. and my LHS said that horizon should be getting the 8ight e 3.0 at the 27th of this month i can't wait.
