Exclamation New Off-Road Test Facility spied in So Cal!!!

New off road test facility in Southern California desert. Huge 185' x 75' track surface. This will be a track to humble all off road tracks. I discovered it while flying my Cessna 210 yesterday afternoon. After I landed I drove to the location and the guys there allowed me to stay and help. While I was there I noticed a few guys I have seen in the magazines. I was "sworn to secrecy" you could say, as I was told not to give out the location or any info that could link back to those who are part of the project. Check this thread for more updates as I get them. All photos must be approved by the track staff so as I get them I will post them. Also this track appears to be private, and will be by special invite only.

More to come...

Is this going to be a gas only type track or will it be suitable for electrics as well?

I'm missing something...

If this is a private 'Test Facility' for only a select group of people,.. then why are they letting you take pictures to show and inform the rest of the R/C world??...

not trying to discredit you or anyone involved.. just seems strange... Sounds like a "Hey, look at my awesome track.. too bad you can't come play too "

just curious...

Basically, they knew I wouldn't be able to keep a secret about somethething so big, so they want to control what gets out. The track will be for everything. I know it seems sorta messed up to brag about a track that right now is private...but I heard it might open up to the public after the factory drivers get their time in. They also want to guage the response to this thread to see what kind of interest there is. More to come.

It would be nice to find this track, I need a track close to due some testing myself. With a track that big looks like a Losi LST would be awsome, just need to find it and get invited.
