you guys are aware that new-to-rc-cars is Cory Foulard right???

Dont know if you guys remember or not he used to be Mugen MBX5 had a thread much like this one a long time ago that people tried enlighting him with better ways to do what he is trying to do, but he didnt wanna listen, kept claiming he was a basher not a racer. He got suspended due to foul language and came back as new-to-rc-cars.

He isnt going to listen to what we have to say about bump boxes, or the fact that trying to find a set of engine mounts for a pullstart motor that fits the mugen MBX-5 is going to be next to impossible.

But you want hella rip try the RB 928, or if you really wanna shat yourself the new O.S. 28. But both of those require bump boxes. Good luck finding a motor that makes your buggy faster though.

Harvy, I hate to tell you that manufactuers horsepower claims mean absolutely nothing. They are just numbers that they throw out there and that is it. What they actually mean, who the hell knows, probably the size of the designers wang or something.

From what I have visually seen with my eyes the O.S. .28 is by a large margin the strongest motor I have seen, the RB 928 is awesome itself. But the O.S. is just rediculous, many racers and very good racers have bought it, put it in there truggy run it 1 race and say to hell with that, its just way to much power. I dont even know if you could use all that power bashing.

I dont race, I dont care that the tires wont hook up, I dont care that it costs 500$ for the engine, I dont care if a tank of gas lasts 45 seconds, I just wanna drive fast!!!

any suggestions?

Im going towards the 528, but maybe thers something better?

I am a hard core racer, I don't walk anywhere if my car dies. I yell down to my pit bitch to hurry his ass up and get it re-fired before I lose to many laps
