Could someone please do me a small favor? I need a straight line measurement of the distance between the 2 holes in the chassis that you'd use for the optional carbon battery hold down. Thinking about using it on a different chassis.

I do, and no scratches. But then again, I race on carpet.

What is the final drive ratio of the T2 008 EU?

Does anyone have a battery strap and mounting posts for sale for a T2 008/009?

Has anyone tried to run a 38t spool and diff with the 20t idle gears on a 008 EU, and if so what belts did you use to make it work? Part numbers if possible.

Thanks

Does anyone know the difference between the 007 and 008 diffs? I'm picking up a 008 and want to know if I can use or convert the 2 007 diffs I have.
Also, is there a list of parts that are different somewhere so I dont get rid of 007 parts that I later end up buying again??

Thanks.
Kevin

You should find a conversion chart on the team xray site with all the cross over parts. Save link as..

You will find not a lot of parts swap between an 007 and a 008.

the pulley is alot further to the right of the car, so the long outdrive is longer and the short one is shorter compared to the 07 diff. even if you spaced it across it wouldnt work as the driveshafts wouldnt go into the outdrives properly...

Thank you for the link. That is just what I was looking for. Bummer on diffs...guess I will be unloading quite a few 007 spares.

Yup, the diffs and spool will fit...not perfect, but definitely acceptable. In fact, most guys here with 007's have the 305184 Composite 008 Spool installed!
