what is so special about a p-94?

It was the first to use the bigger "P-94 size" brushes. But they have been used in lots of Trinity motors since the first P-94

I have a Holmes hobbies p-94 motor, I know he sells excellent motors but was wondering about this p-94. Thanks for the info. P-94's seem to be somewhat popular among brushed guys in certain applications, am I right?

I like them because the bigger brushes last longer. But they are harder on the com because the greater com coverage leads to more arcing.

The local hobby shop said p-94's were great motors but never really said why and I am a definate newbie on the internal workings of the electric rc motor. The one I have is 45t and will go the the Losi 1/10th crawler coming out in May.

I think your crawler will wear out before the brushes in that 45T motor.
