I'm not todd, but you need part numbers losa3072(aluminum diff tube), losa3073(steel outdrives, one per package), and losa6230(shim assortment set). Todd can clarify if I am wrong on any of it.

Those of you who keep asking about the Tamiya shocks haven't spent enought time trying to match Losi shock. The Tamiya shock is one of the best on the market. Losi shocks are so bad that is why they came out with their matching tool.

Todd - Any plans on a new shock? Maybe something like the Tamiya or Yokomo? Just Top fill with a bladder and the proper length.

hklosi-Try not using the battery strap and just taping your batteries in. Remove the rear bumper and just cover the bottom with a small piece of lexan. Use aluminum screws or titanium.

invisagod-Trinity makes some and also you can use AE ones if you want to make the car wider.

bestea-Yes at times I will use steel outdrives. Mostly on lower bite tracks where more traction is needed. The part number the outdrive is LOSA3073. You will also need to get LOSA3072 Diff tube for completing the diff.

RedRocketRacing-I don't think Losi shocks are as bad as you say. The shock matching tool is so you can match your shocks when changing pistons so you can match up the oil.

Any chance you can/will post the setup that (I don't know if you did) was run at the Reedy... the one with the 2R block up front. I don't recall what some of the other changes were.

What Trinity hex adaptor part number do you suggest for standard size wheels ¥12mm¤? I have seen part number TMF1123 and TMF1114, but which is the correct PN or best design for the XXXS G+?

Do you run the losi graphite hexs or aftermarket aluminum hexs?

I know I asked this on Trinity Tech, but no one is there lately. Why are you so fast? Are you still running THE WHEEL on your M8 radio.

People always try to make their cars go faster but do not put much time into making themselves faster by way of a better feeling radio. If you do still run THE WHEEL could you elaborate on why?

Hi all... I am looking for an article that Todd wrote a while back on tuning a XXX-S for asphalt. I haven't seen it, but I heard that it is very easy to understand for someone starting out... sort of a "tuning for dummies" kind of thing... I'm running rubber tires in stock/novice and just getting started in actual racing instead of just running in the street at home.

Any idea where I can find this?
