I'm rooting for HPI. If someone makes it to the A-main with the Racer 2, he has to be the best driver there.

LMAO

Pure race car!!!

Unfortunately I dont think they will be there

Quote from HPI site:

The Racer 2 is aimed at the current state of competition, it's not a "Nitro Pro" kit that is optimized for permanent high-bite racetracks for a class that is still trying to get organized racing events planned. Rest assured that when the time comes for true pro-level competition, HPI Racing will be at the forefront of the Nitro touring car wave. In the meantime, give the Racer 2 a try, we think you will be pleasantly surprised by the improved performance!

with that long straightaway, the NTC3 will not have enough gearing to make it to the end of the straightaway. it will max out before the it hits the halfway mark.

agree, gearing for shaft driven car is a problem.

You're both wrong. Gearing the NTC3 for that track will not be a problem.

TC3 will not run out of gear there. MTX is a struggle. I have run on that track and so has OB. I have a hard time getting enough gear with an RTU in a Mugen.(21/43 2nd required) And Huge is an Understatement. The entrance to the back straight even on that nosebleed altitude driverstand can be a problem as if your to close to the inside boards your TC kinda disappears for a moment.

Ob we should be so lucky to have that thing so close.

How is it that the NTC3 will have enough gears and the MTX will not?
