Default 1/12 scale IRS Front Arms

When running any of the new larger diameter 1/12 scale wheels the IRS arms seem way to low of profile to enable me to run proper ride height?

With both spacers large and small and a tire trued down to 1.66 which on a large diameter tire doesn't leave much rubber my ride height in the front end was measuring 5 mil! If I add any more spacers with me running my servo on an angle my tie rods will be hitting the arm when turning.

Anyone else having this problem?

Jeremy

Jason,

I run a gen-x but but I am running the assocaited style FE on it. Do you think I am running into problems by running the CRC delron steering blocks?

Everything else is perfect? I can't figure it out. I have no problems running the older style lower profile IRS arms...

If your using the bigger new rims from Parma you might have that problem with ride height but not that much, I had that with the reg arms but not with the lower new arms.

Woops,

I figured it out... Some times when I drink and work on my car at the same time bad things happen...
