Unfortunately, with the nationals having passed and life situations, I cannot afford to do the shootout nor can I take the time off of work so a double whammy there. I will certainly have to come up and visit at least one of the days though as it would not be right to not be there.

Ryan, we are really gonna miss you! But we sure do

understand. I think the entire California team traveled to

the Cactus this year in March, several traveled to the

Nationals, and most are doing the JBRL series, which involves

a lot of traveling! I think most of the team will miss the

Shoot-Out due to expense, and/or no vacation time left!

So far, it looks like most everyone will be at the Reedy Race

at Hot Rod's in October.

I wouldn't want you any other way!!!!!!!!

I always laugh when I read what you've "done" with

one of the motors!!!!!!!!!! I'll put one of the crawler

motors in my "magic" purse for you, so I'll have it

next time I see you!! We're using a torque can, and

special "torque" brushes. Seems to be working well.

BUT, won't swear by it until it's been through the

"DOWNTOWN SMACKDOWN" test!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe this will help ... a little..

OLD banzai Blue CAN, 'newer' trin armature, (for rebuild) and some new 766 brushes
Only spun 19k or so on the dyno. Perfect for my drifter project.

Not exactly one of your 'babies'. But it screams for 30 mins+ on a 4800.

Yeah, the crawler motor I have it awesome It's gone thru some nice deep mud, up the side of a loose pile of dirt, almost climbed over my neice laying on the floor (stupid brush guard on the F350 stopped it from making it all the way )

I honestly can't wait to get all 3 speeds in the truck working and give the motor a spin up in the mountains

Then maybe, find a crawler comp near me and play

Thanks K-bojar!! How are those brushes holding up

in the motor??

Downtown, morning!!

Guys! I am so proud of Scott!! The new computer

is up and running, and last night he got the DSL going!

I can not believe how fast it is! It loads the pictures on Ebay

lightening fast! I really will be the "Queen of Ebay" now!

I'm still using the old one until I get everything transferred,

but you all were right, it's awesome!!

Thanks Hubby!!!!!!!!!!
