IIC approved? I have no idea. I scoured the website and saw no mention of battery legality. But my understanding is that because the IIC is an international race that products legal in regions around the world are allowed.

Example: The entire AE team used EFRA approved (not ROAR approved) LRP batteries last year.

We will have enough for everyone!

Good thing we are not a hobby shop or there might be a conflict.

Hi everyone,

Well it is that time. Boomer and I are at 36000 feet on our way to Vegas. Hard to believe that it is hear but so happy that it is. Things are all set for a great show. Jaco Tires are there, Speed Passion motors, CRC Fast Track carpet arrived. Corrally Jack the Gripper is there, Ride F-1 tires, Parma goodies. Only thing we are waiting on is the plane to land so we can get to work and get the track laid down!

Registration opens on Monday at Noon in the IIC Ballroom. Pit setup is at 4-6pm on Monday.

As Kraig posted, Amp Draw is the official hobbyshop of the IIC and we are very proud to have their support since 2005. Shane and his crew do a fantastic job supplying everyone with all the things they need plus lots of cool options you normally dont find at your local hobbyshop. Many sponsors of the IIC have new items that are just coming to market and Amp Draw will have them in stock just for the IIC.

Rick you are correct, Batteries from around the world are allowed.


Poker Tournament will be on Sunday night at 7pm. Be there by 6:30pm if you can to get signed up. The poker room boss has everything set up. It is going to be a blast. Tournament is open only to IIC racers and immediate family member's.


Many guys are arriving today to begin the vacation/party/race that is the IIC. We thank everyone who is attending this year and we will do all we can to make this years IIC the best ever.

Charlie- Sorry that you'll be missing Bob Stellflue and I doing a wheel-to-wheel rematch at Pole Position raceway on Monday night, but hopefully we'll have a few good stories for you by Saturday! hahhaha...

BTW- If anyone would like to join in on a little informal kart racing on Monday night, October 3 at 8 pm, Pole Position Raceway, are all welcome. Each participant will have to cover their own racing costs, but it will be fun.

Fran and I are chilling in the Virgin Atlantic lounge @ Gatwick airport. Then flying non-stop to Vegas
