-Schumacher will be fast in qualifying but will have a lot of failures during the race.
-Kimi wont finish 40% of his races. But he will be very fast now with his Ferrari
-Japanese teams, mostly honda wont finish 75% of their races, due to engine failures on the most part.
-Massa will be fast but will be forced to pull over for kimi (when kimi does finish)
-Renault and Ferrari are going to have the best cars (duh)...
-Fisichella will be able to shine now that alonso is gone
-Alonso will be very fast, but will be plagued with mechanical issues.. Alonso's year will look a lot like Kimi's year last year.
-Bridgestone with debut a new tire for the USA race, however the pace will still be slower than years past.
-Ferrari will come out with some cool new device that EVERYONE see's as not legal, but ferrari will insist that it's legal.. shocking, I know.
Top 5 in points at the end of the year- not in any particular order-
Massa
Fisichella
Alonso
Kimi
Button/Schumacher <--- depending on who finishes more races.

Top 5 in in order will be:
1. Kimi
2. Massa
3. Fisi
4. Alonso
5. Button

Watch Ferrari run away with this one...
Kimi will win ....

Kimi has a car that is proven to be reliable in the past....he will be faster than ever and finish more races....look for Kimi #1. Alonso will be frustrated and do MORE dumb mistakes and be penalized multiple times this year. Ralph will do well but never dominate like his bro.... my guesses

I dunno... McLaren hasn't had a failure yet this year. I read that the Mercedes is putting out more power now at 1000 less RPM than at the finish of last season. Thier reliability is going to be WAY better.
I expect Kovalainen to finish higher than Fiscy. I think fiscy owes this years contract to the fact he was Alonso's teammate the last 2 years. Fiscy's a Spyker or Torro Rosso driver in '08.
The thing about Ferrari is even though they appear to be off the pace (albeit slightly) you know they will get it right, like they did in '06. The #1 Ferrari won't be decided until mid-season, unless one of them blows out BADLY at the start and the other wins everything.
Don't forget Bong, they are running the same engines as last year so I'm not thinking engine reliability is going to be nearly the problem it was at the beginning of '06.
I think it's a war this year between Alonso, Raikkonen and Massa with Kovalainen and Lewis nipping at thier heels. With a big battle for 5th-10th between BMW, Toyota and Williams (don't forget Wurz).

Yep Kimi will be on top this season. The battle to watch will be between Massa & Fisi, with Massa puling it out in the end.
Alonso's will end the season far behind the top three due to poor mechanical reliability and questionable judgment.

Wurz was very fast last year and I bet he is in the top 4 either this or next year
#10
Wurz has been one of my hopefulls since he first got on the grid like in 2002. He just needs a chassis...

Damn, I knew it was awhile ago but I didn't think it was 10 years ago!
Man, where did the last decade go???

Dana--I can tell you where my last 10 years went....down the drain in a divorce....LOL
On a much more positive note....I see the results for the whole year being just like the above results....Kimi not always winning but in the top three and taking the championship
