I'm seriously thinking about switching to Lipo's. I was going to go with MaxAmps but right now there is a issue about their packs not being hard cased and the Hyperion EOS0610i 6S 10A Balance Charger.I have been looking at the Trakpower cells but they use a single balancing port which is far different then the MaxAmps balancing port. I guess my question is can I use the Hyperion EOS0610i 6S 10A Balance Charger with a Trakpower Lipo?
Thanks in advance

Yes. You will need the Trakpower balance harness listed in a post on Page 1 of this thread. Then, you simply need a TP to Hyperion balance adapter.

Thanks, I read that earlier but I couldn't see how it would work. The hardcased packs seen to have a single port for balancing and that adapter had multi pin connectors. Right now I'm a idiot when it comes to Lipo's

I found the right link this time http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/12577
So this would just be plug and play as far as charging and balancing?

I just got the max amps 4000mah w/ the"built in Skin" option. It has hard plastic heat shrunk around the cells w/ shrink wrap around that. They also have the "detachable skin option". They told me on the phone that these were considered hard case and that it is something they just started doing a couple weeks ago(I've had mine a little over a week).
You can also get any balancer plug with them as well.
I am just learning the Lipo thing as well and just got this battery to try in my new B44.
I called them up and just asked a couple questions and they hooked me up in the the direction I needed to go.

That balance harness along with this adapter linked below should make it plug and play.
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/18243

The balance harness will plug into the 6S slot on the adapter though since the balance harness for the Trakpower is set up for the V-Balancer and has a larger plug than normal.

Then, once the balancer is plugged in, you can take the charging leads and piggyback them into the 4mm bananas going into the Trakpower pack (these bananas on the balance harness are made specifically to piggyback them).

So, basically, for an extra $14, you'll have everything you need to balance charge the Trakpower packs.

is still better than the maxamps Lipo packs. At least the maxamps packs wont be used on everyones r/c to make
the race at the winterblast more even. You guys do it to have the extra edge...wakeup call I dont need it.
I'll be fine with Nimh batts. And my team checkpoint motor drops.
I done told you Stallard until I see hard case Lipos for the B44, im staying in nimh.
