It looks like the spool outdrives are not reliable too, although I'll try them before buying the old ones. I am going to race it in modified.
Yokomo builds are the best, smooth and seamless. It's not a problem, set screw is to prevent cam from moving. It's not in the manual but will come in a small packet with instructions. I would definitely change out the outdrives to previous model especially if you're racing on hard barriers....they will break, no question. I don't understand why they even bother changing it in the first place.

Congrats, since you're now part of the team maybe you and michal can make a setup cheat sheet similar to what xray has for the t4....made by colheo and hudy. If you don't know what what I'm talking about you can dl it from petit, setup guide for t4 16

Thanks! You mean a setup guide or a setup sheet? There are plenty of setup sheets for the BD8 on petitrc, but i'm working on a new setup atm, it will be up soon on my website. I can't put up pictures via my mobile on the forum.

Just bought one of these and am a little disappointed that I need to buy an upper deck from outside the us to run stock. What springs should I pick up?

stock springs should work fine! just put less shims under camberlinks to change the rollcenter for more cornerspeed and get a more easy car to drive.

I wonīt come to TITC, just too far away at the moment.

b20vtec, there are many really good setup guides out there, i donīt think we need another one

Thanks guys for all congratulations!! warms my heart

I found that strange too. I was able to get one from Options-RC. Not sure how many they have left, you can PM them through FB.
