BSMOOTH: Sorry I missed your questions, Bill has it right.
Sponsors get resereved spaces for the team members. If there are racers who want to try and pit together, then I do our best to accomodate it. but we have plenty of room and everyone gets a pit space.
WEIGHT LIMITS: I will have those posted later this week for everyone.
Let me know if you guys have any other questions,
Thanks
Scotty

A certain racer at Nor-Cal Hobbies who dominates at F-1 would love to see the class at this year's IIC.

They don't care for TCS rules either.
2s, 21.5 blinky, 180mm, aka F-104 width. Modern "Realistic" looking F1 cars.

I'm pretty interested in F1 myself but haven't decided yet. I have a F109 right now setup with the F104 front suspension and tires but I'm not really happy with the way I have it setup so that would likely mean building a whole new F104 piece meal and I'm not so sure I want to do that yet.

I just wanted to chime in here concerning the F1 class...
Hiro was kind enough to talk to Scotty Ernst and he's willing to add the class if he feels we can get 20 guys to register... As of now we have 9 people committed to this class and Mike Rydwell of Exotek will be sponsoring the class...
If your interested in racing F1 please add your name to this list:

The class will follow the UF1 Realistic specs... 21.5 motor, non boost ESC, any F1 rubber tires, 180mm maximum width, realistic F1 body and wings, 2 Wheel Rear drive...
We just need to show Scotty we can get at least 20 folks in on this...

So basically, you'll have the wider/lighter /3racing cars racing against heavier/narrower Tamiya F1s.

From my understanding they have limited the width to that of the F104 so to run the 3Racing car you would have to convert the front suspension to the F104. Otherwise I'd run the lighter, wider, shorter F103
