nice...looks good.
not at all...my shell is waayyyy worse than that. my AE86 is all torn in the front. and the paintjob isn't all that...I got too zealous with the tint and it seeped into the color on the roof...I may patch it up..maybe carbon the hood, just to add some spice!

yeah it had splits in the air dam so I cut it off yesterday that helped to get it lower too

when you do the tint only do about two thin coats I found that out the hard way too

I had some springs around from Integy shocks set I bought for my Zero S..I installed the gold ones to the front of my D3 CS.
I just tried to feel them compared to the orange stock ones and wanted ssomething slightly stiffer up front due to motor weight.
tried it out for practice run at my LHS carpet drift track..initially it was understeering a lot but wasn't feeling like the backend was kicking out as much...

adjusted the upper mounts on the front to go inner (from reading that typically for drifting the front shocks should be layed down more towards the center).

wow!!!! what a big difference! I was really surprised and was able to drive faster and had better control...it's almost as if I lowered down my CS ratio
...even on tight hairpins...it did pretty good. although I can't take those small switchbacks fast yet

Hey
I prefer this forum to the drift mission, I think here is more geared up for helping, which is great for people like myself, still waiting on my one-way and tensioner arriving so I can get my build started lol

I really like my new yeah racing tyres. there are still heaps of FOW's at rcMart. I like both forums the other is geared just towards Drifting which is why I like it. The other forum has different info, like I've been finding out about the king pin inclination mods people are doing. I think given time (cause that forum only just opened this week), there will be a wealth of information on all aspects of drifting mods and setups

I'm with pickled on that...there are always some good information throughout..you just have to find it. that's why it's good to look through a lot of information.
I'll have to look into that mod you are talking about. I like all the forums and have been learning a lot by reading through posts.
and through experiments and practicing at my LHS

the king pin mod is so both king pins are offset having the lower pin closer to the wheel. It effects the camber and the caster when your steering but not when your wheels are straight there is a pic in the D3 thread on the DM forum though it is an extreme angle lol. 3-Racing-Sakura-D3-CS-Drift

they got live chat up and running now to so it's good when you need to ask a question.

Anywho I'm going to order a set of MST knuckles so I can do the mod you can get the plastic ones for around 15 bucks

pickled, where did u find those MST knuckles and c hubs (under what keywords)?
I tried searching on eBay and couldn't find anything?

I just did carbon fiber mod to the cheap Nissan body. I finally was able to get that paint with ugly graphics partially off with acetone.

the last couple of pics are with light tint on outside
more...

here are the eBay pages MST knuckles D3 C-hubs i always check the worldwide box and if you google it first ussually you get an eBay item in the results
with the mst knuckles I will have to sleeve the inner bearing as it takes a bearing that covers the CVD joint

It looks like you got some overspray on the front guards

thanks for the links...I already have a set of the D3 hubs...need to order those knuckles.

LOL on the overspray! sorry, I haven't removed the overpay film yet I just cut out the film part of the hood and doors effectively using the film as outside masking. the outside gets a light coat of tint as part of the carbon fiber mod.

Orchard didnt have the correct carpet tape with closer weave for the CF...so I used this clear duct tape. guess it works
