Mike (Rc Thunder) thanks for a great race and a damn good time. It was our first Snowbirds and it won't be our last. Thanks again to you and your staff for making it a great experience.

I'm pretty sure that's her on the couch, only one I remember seeing.

Notice the snazzy new rctech.net logo! haha

edit: Actually my auto-logo-insertion algorithm in photoshop needs perfecting, but you get the idea. There are also some other people in the photo from R/C Tech that you might recognize... plus Mike Reedy!

She was HOT as was the European chick with that one LRP driver.....for the record, both of those guys are my RC idols.

I can tell you one thing, the chicks at RC races are a million times better now than they were in the early 90s. I guess we all got sexier.

I wasn't at the race, but what about using sheets of plastic (1/4" Poly Propolyne) instead of wood? Maybe someone has a hookup with a local plastic dealer and could "borrow" some sheets. Just an idea...

Regarding the pitlane. If the pit lane were close to where all the drivers are standing ... waiting to get on the stand, maybe it would have been used more. It was a cluster F@#$ trying to put your car down in pitlane, and still get a spot on the stand... . Also, after a run, if they told people to pull thier cars off the track on the opposite side of the stand, then people would have to get on the stand, on one side, and get off the stand on the other.

Just my .02

PolyPro is going to be much more expensive and will expand and contract with temp change much more than wood will. I sell the stuff for a living. Good idea but it wouldn't work.

That little slice of fine with the LRP driver was well worth a glance or two. Made me think twice about having my wife come with me for laundry duties next year!! (READ AS: moral support/check writer/sandwich maker extraordinaire) She would kill me if she read that...
