Help me Decide on a practice motor
Looking for a decent practice motor. I was thinking about these... Nova n21bf limited, RB Junior 9, orion alpha .21 ,or a werks B5 .21.. Really I'm just looking at a motor that has good longevity and decent power. Any input on these would be helpful Thanks in advance

Get the same as your race engine. Ive found that different engines can dramatically change the way I drive. Sometimes even a big tuning change can cause me to need to relearn my timing to get the jumps on the track right.
BTW cheap engines rarely have good longevity.

the nova .21bf will last you proberty about 5 gallons or more if u take care of your filter and never run it to lean, im not sure if rb is made in the same factory ,its proberty the same thing the only diffrence i heard is that rb when new are a pain to start cause of the tight piston

mach is the sh line, same as dynamite, just different motors, as for longevity, short life as far as the rb or nova has nothing to do with it's price, both are very basic motor's, nothing fancy on the inside but very solid performers and will last a season or more if taken care of.

practice engine
I do not own a Werks B5 but I have researched them quite a lot and everything I have read & herd they are great engines, fast, reliable & great run time. Watch the 2009 Nitro Cross. Jeremy Kortz did very well with it and from what I read has several gallons on it. I am currently running the GRP engines and my next 2 engines will be the B5. Even though these engines are only $200 I believe they are a full race engine. It seems the 2013 pipe and p3 plug are the ticket.

if u do get the nova .21 bf it is shimmed for 25% nitro ,if u go to 20% u have to lean the top about a half of a turn and the low end 1/4 at a time my was rich when i went to 25% to 20%
