The drive train has the normal X2 layout.
The Losi offset rear dif main gear is here not the case.

The prototype plastic is made by 3D printing.
Check google video for 3D printing to see why the plastic looked layered.

I'm sure they will. They carry both Hong Nor, and Hyper stuff now, I can't imagine that will change, jsut because it isn't branded as Jammin

Your right on the Rear diff, it was hard to tell, but I looked again this mornng and it is a normal diff set up.. The brake system is much like that of Agama, durango, and a few other out right now.. I'm still having trouble figuring out how some think it looks like a D8 though??

I was looking at the pictures and the front and rear suspension caster blocks dont look captured. Please Please please make the blocks captured as I have had alot of issues with front arms pulling out with non capluted blocks like on the old D8. I hope this is not a $200 old D8 type buggy I will pay more for quality.

I see very little in part comparison, about the only thing are metal ball ends and shock bodies.

from the look of it, they have nearly all of the top cars best parts: mp9 shock geometry, losi/xray style arms-front hubs, serpent braking system...

using those style all in one car should make it a mean machine, and hong nor was always known for strength in 1/8.
as i always say, you have to not break to come first.
