Default Assorted Screw Set?

I am looking for a company that sells an assorted screw set. I have only found RC Screwz, which are stainless steel. Nobody seems to sell steel bulk screw sets--something for my toolbox. It is frustrating not having screws for my 1/8 and 1/10 onroad cars. Dont need titanium.

Neither Mugen or Shepherd sell a normal complete steel screw set for the cars i have. Why is this???

thanks

If you are just looking for normal steel screws OFNA sells some kits for their buggies. I don't know the part #s but you can check out nitrohouse.com for them.

contact
http://www.tonysscrews.com/

he offers an MRX4X package. these are high quality steel screws (like in the shepherd kit)

he is also pretty responsive to new kit requests, it couldn't hurt to request a Velox8 kit.

Yeah Tonys Screws is all the top quality steel screws, good general source for RC screws, and he does some kits, though I typically just order bulk of common ones I need.

Look in your yellow pages for a fastener company. I get my screws in bulk all 3mm in various head types and lengths. "ie... Fastenal"

The only problem I found with my local fastener suppliers, they typically deal in real bulk, you can seriously pay bugger all per screw if you want 100+ of that single type of screw, but when you want smaller amounts the price goes up an extraordinary amount.

You are correct. The minimum order I can make is for 100 screws. But I get 100 3mm button head screw @ 6mm long for $4.45

Thanks guys. When ordering screws from fastenal or similar, what are the exact specs that describe a normal screw? What coating? Thread specs, etc.

Just a regular steel screw. Most nitro touring cars use 3mm screws at various lengths and head types. I would only get the screws you use the most. Some of rare screws I get right from the car manufacturer.
