I just wanted to send out a little message about the format for the race on August 6th. This race will be run a little different than most RC races. We will run heats that you will either transfer out of to the semis or to last change qualifiers. LCQ racers will have a chance to move up to the semis. The semis will determine who transfers to the A mains and B mains.

Here is an example of how it would work out for 30 entries.

Heats
3 Heats of 10
top 4 to Semis
others to LCQ

LCQ
2 Heats of 9
top 3 to Semis
2 fastest non qualifers to Semis
10 non qualifers to C Main

Semis
2 Heats of 10
12 from Heats
8 from LCQ
top 4 to A Main
2 fastest non qualifers to A Main
10 non qualifers to B Main

Mains
A Main 10
B Main 10
C Main 10

Actually each race will have sort of "importance". It will be exciting to be in 4th when they are taking 4 out of that race. Do you push to get past 4th and maybe risk getting tangled up? Do you just ride right behind him and hope that you get the bump up on fast time?
