Default fIRST OUTING IN ANGER

Ran my Esc with the 4.4 software, in WGT10 X12 10.5 and 12.2 rotor. This combo was very fast and punchy.
Final settings for the Esc 3 dot insert in motor, 0,5,11,0 and 41.5 mm rollout. Motor temp after 6 min run was 59c.

I ran the ESC this weekend (thanks to Sean for the swap in ABQ) with the newest software, and thought it was great. The feel and speed were everything I'd hoped the v1 would be, and they got it right in the v2. I still think, if you're trying to win an outright speed contest, the Tekin has the edge, but it seems maybe impossible to drive with those settings. The LRP is smooth, fast and easy to use. It certainly did a better job at adapting than I did. I never felt down on power, just down on talent. I'm looking forward to more testing in the coming weeks as we prepare for our big event locally.

The software (firmware) of the brand new SXX speed controls (SXX Competition Version 2, SXX TC spec Version 2, SXX Stock Spec Version 2) and the iX8 Brushless speed control can be updated with the PC by using the LRP USB Bridge. The bridge allows a quick and easy update of the speed control software. The required software is for free and can be downloaded from the LRP homepage (www.LRP.cc). Can be operated with Windows PCs only.
well I've looked and can't find the software, do I need glasses

I believe the first update V4.3 was with drawn because of bugs, v4.4 is around team drivers being tested and it seems fine.
Im been running it for 3 weeks now with out problems, X12 motors run so much smoother and COOLER. Dont know when it will be available for general release yet.

OK... I'm cool with that. Great that they are taking care of those customers.

When will they be available to the rest of us that want to get one

The PC-Software should be back online soon, we had to do a few further tweaks as there were some operating systems & computers where trouble occured during updating and this is why we have taken the software off the website.
I hope it's back online by end of next week!

As for versions, the firmare revision history was posted before, but attached it is again...

What I saw of the interface seemed pretty much like its intended to update the ESC firmware and nothing else. Are there plans, perhaps, for an advanced mode allowing custom mappings or something?

I think the best thing about this ESC is that it didn't feel like I was driving a boosted class. The power delivery was so smooth. Granted, it just meant I went smoothly right into the boards, but I was fighting other issues. ESC and motor were definitely not part of that. I think I might give the x12 motors another try with this ESC, that combo looked very fast.

Both my TC and 12th have V2's and X12s and work perfect! Maybe you have to much dirt in your motors and need to clean them out! lol
