That looks great, good pics guys. It seems to me an after-market medium front tower of carbon fiber would be the hot ticket. anyone? lol, j/k

You guys are hard core with the front shocks thing. But for us that don't own a dremmel , can I just buy something off someone when we get this all sorted out?

I am for sure sticking to the rear jammin shocks though. Not going to a 13mm. Again, I bought an SCRT over an SC8 so I could have a 1/10 scale SC. The SCRT is already accused of not being 1/10 scale with it's 3 wet difs. I don't want to take it a step further with BB shocks and 17mm rims and basically have a whimpy 8th scale. I'de rather have a stout 1/10th and keep the small shocks. Off my soapbox.

Default Stock diff/shock oils?

My LHS just got the Jammins in after being on back order and I picked one up earlier tonight.

Does anyone know what shock and diff oils come in the kit?

The size of the shocks don't change the scale of the truck.

If you don't own a dremmel, buy one! You can get the harbor freight ones for like $20. A dremmel is an absolute must have for an RC toolbox.

Jimmy - if you make a kit I will buy it today.

Last night I got my Slash body all painted up...

I have not drilled the holes yet but it will require a tad bit of trimming in the front and possibly movement of the body mounts to the upper position. The rears definitely will impact the inside of the body on full compression.

I bought some aluminum to do the Slash front bumper mod since my front bumper is already broken...

So...Jammin 13mm FRONT buggy shocks are the way to go on this? Are those the ones off the CRT.5 or the 1/8 buggy?

Pics as promised:

I'm looking at having the shock tower drawn up and have some made from aluminum and maybe delrin or other "plastic".

It's going to be a while as I have a bunch of things on our "SC plate".

Jimmy... thank you for sharing this!

Could I ask you to do me a favor as I don't have my truck yet? (bacorder) Could you list some part numbers to successfully get me everything I would need to convert my front end? All I can offer is my thanks!

Just got the response from Pro-Line on their PowerStroke shocks...

Front shocks eye to eye 88mm
Rear Shocks eye to eye 101mm
