hi motorman,
if we use 42 shore in the front we lost steering,
in the most time we have 38 in front and 40 rear,
on tracks with high grip we go to 40 sh.
what is your basic setup for a track with low grip??
did you drive with one-way or spool, or front diff??

Default Low grip tight track set-ups

38 shore fronts 40 shore rears is right......even 38 shore rears work, but there's nothing left on the rears after a main.

Front spool- on low grip where you need to brake hard for the corners. The hard braking will give you enough weight transfer to turn the car. The spool will give you better acceleration out of the corners. If you don't plan on using alot of brakes you should not be running a spool. Light braking and coasting corners are for one-ways.

Front diff- will give you more turn-in for the corners, but you will sacrifice acceleration out of the corners. Of course you can control some of that with heavier diff fluid. I just never liked what you give up on acceleration out of a corner with a diff.

Most of the preferences with spool vs diff is driving preferences. Easy to drive is not always faster.

hey I got a new problem, I think I might now what it is but im not sure

My Nova rossi engine has 7 tanks through it and I leaned out the hsn from 3 turns open to 2 3/4 turns and leaned the lsn 1/8th of a turn.

but my car bogs badly when I acellerate or try to reach high rpms.

my temps are still at 207 and I have plenty of smoke coming out of the pipe.

what could be causing this, all symptons points to a rich lsn, but since centax clutches can also bog a car, I don't know which it is

If you're still using the original G4 silver clutch spring go replace it with at least the red one. And check your clutch shoe for wear

You are from Singapore? I think Rotor hobby carries almost all parts in stock. Correct?
