No, Manticore told me they are for cleaning the clutch, there are 2 holes, one on each side, just use a small nozzle from any motor spray, proshot or nitro cleaner to clean the clutch dust inside the hub.

I can't see any springs on the clutch shoes, So how do you adjust this thing ?

I would have thought it would engage at the same time regardless of the oil in the gear section, as it would be the speed of revolution of the whole hub that cause it to engage.

Thanks that's what i figure the holes are for too bad I couldn't read japanese. On the spring thing the diff doesn't need it because if there was one the clutch will never disengage.

It doesnt have a spring as tension allowing the clutch to engage or disengage. It's just the centric force of the shaft, if it spins fast enough then the clutch shoe will grab the housing. The clutch shoe itself is pretty damn big and have much more weight then a shoe type 2 speed clutch, besides there is just a briefly disengage while you are at the cornor when throttle is off, once you grab the throttle you want it to engage so it acts like a solid axle and it will rocket the car out of the turn.

yes the holes are for cleansing purpose according to the instruction manual. I have a japanese speaking friend translated it for me. There is nothing that you can adjust the clutch but if you want, you need to dissemble the diff every time you need to make adjustment by cutting or putting up weight on the clutch shoes.
