i dont know what some of guys are talking about i mean ive used a 130 oz servo on, my buggy and it holds the wheels fine when i turn so if it can turn the wheels without a push or having to go real wide than its fine.
i dont know maybe you guys drive like balls to the wall or something.

Yep. As long as you set your EPA's correctly. If you don't a high torque servo can rip stuff apart.
The thing is usually the higher torque servos are slower. That's the trade off. But the 7955 has plenty of speed and more than enough torque. Anything under 180 oz/in is not enough for a buggy. 200+ is better and 300+ even better than that. So back to what I posted originally. 7955 can't be beat.

For my mbx6t truggy, I'm running a brushless conversion so I'm regulated to 6v only.
For that, seems both the 7950 and 7955 would fit the bill. If the 50 has better centering, that would be a plus.
How's the power consumption between both? I know you nitro guys don't really care but us E guys have too

I usually put about 450MAH into my lipo after 30 minute main running two HV's, Spektrum receiver and AMB PT.

yeah i know but the way i look at it is, if i make it a few months and the gears strip i can just buy the gears from the 7955 and be about the same price but i dont have to buy all at ones, i save when i can since im a full time college student....

ive havnt striped, the gears on the 7954 at i never striped steel gears the only problem im having is that it lost its center a bit.
i run it on my truggy for the steering.

i used to have one that was 133 and it work just fine until i got faster (top three in sportsman) i went to the 7955 and was faster (started getting top 3 in pro buggy/truggy), you are loosing so much time with bump steer its not even funny, trust me you need over 250 in buggy and over 300 in truggy def on a high bite track. my 333 oz isnt really cutting it anymore. i run 250+ oz/in on my throttle break even now to get that thing stopped, the stronger the better IMO.
i get you i ran pretty good in sportsman buggy if i dint crash .
yea my, hitec 7954sh has plently of torque for my steering on the truggy.
its diffrent driving styles so everybody has a diffrent opinion.
to me honest, i dint notice bump steer when i ran buggy maybe because the track i was on was so rutty lol.

see thats, what im saying its all about diffrent driving styles i know somebody on here said that the vds 2015 was good on the truggy and they liked it .

you've had problems with hitec centering? thats crazy, mine would center even when it was burning out, it would stop working but it still went to center but i couldnt turn it. mine is 2 years old and its been threw it all, never any centering problems for me... havent tried futaba ...yet lol

its funny i, run a futaba servo and its always kept its center and for some reason the hitecs i use lose its center a bit after 6 or more runs.
maybe cause i nosedived a couple of times by accident or something.
