I've driven almost all the cars listed and my cuda has suprised me with the hits it shruged off that others couldn't. With aluminum c-hubs and no silly inner hinge pins to break/bend, it's quite durable. Gotta go with the xray for this poll though, it's one tough cookie.

ive broken more parts on my Cuda then my tc3 ...ive had the Cuda for a year now b4 it was retired and the tc3 for a total of 3 years...it all comes down to not crashing...simple as that....the tc3 stock bearings do suck though

Xray. The pivotball was near indestructable, the C-hub is a little weaker, but stamps all over everything else in the durability department.

What do this poll show? That there's more XRay cars on the tracks compared to other brands, or that the Xray truly is more bullet proof?

I dunno if this one counts,... but I cant seem to break any parts (except gears) on my Tamiya TL01 ,.... built (and looks) like a tank

My first car was a pro2, and come to think of it, I never had anything break on it. The CVDs went a bit sloppy in the alloy parts but other than that the car was more bullet proof than the xray.

Do we need to do a poll of what people own? It is hard for me to believe that the majority of people on on RCtech.net own X-rays.

I've had a XXX-S, XXX-S upgraded with the graphite kit, a XXXSG+, and now an Xray Evo2 FOC. The original XXXS was really bad about snapping hub carriers and arms and this continued after I upgraded the kit with the Graphite kit. The XXXSG+ seemed to be bulletproof with the exception of the shock shafts. I kept snapping the titanium nitride shafts. Went back to the "standard" shafts and that problem was solved.

I now drive the XRay, and it's been a trooper. The only damage I've done to it was after multiple, and I do mean multiple, hard crashes to the right front (just couldn't time this one corner right one particular Saturday!) I ended up snapping a medium stiffness 6 degree c-hub and bent (badly) the CVD.

Other than that, this car is built like a tank and the adjustments stay where I put them. Great car!

Xray is durable right out of the box as is the Cuda. If Xray came out with a shaft driven car then I would have to go back to Xray. I hated the durability of the TC3. The thing has a glass jaw.

A shaft driven xray would sell like hotcakes. There should be a Xray SD rumor thread instead of yet another tc4 speculation.
