Shrinkwrap - great idea! I was trying to get fuel tubing on it but was worried about breaking the trigger. Will give it a go.

Does that mean you could throw the new one at someone and it'll hit them harder?

If it were me looking for a radio, I know I would definitely stick with the M11x as there doesn't seem to be anything of note that's worth waiting for on the M12 - I could care less about telemetry and I'm not that big a fan of the 'streamlined' design. It looks way too much like an MT-4 to me. Plus they screwed up the naming big time. If there were any logic involved, it would be called an M14 coz there was never any M9 or M10, so why increment by 1 now? Makes no sense to me. And how long would you wait? Does anyone even know when the M12 is actually going to be released?

Just my 0.02c.

On a purely aesthetic note. The M12 is nasty looking, wouldn't own it purely on looks.

I see no improvements from the m11x to m12 that would make me switch.

Yea, (IMO) that M12 is really really ugly... I'm just now getting back into R/C after a 6 year plus break, and I saw the pictures of that M12 a couple weeks ago while I was doing research on the available high-end radios , and what was coming out in the near future..... Myself, being really used to the M8 platform in years past, and hearing that that ugly M12 was on the horizon...I went right down and purchased the M11X ... reguardless of its possible new features, (which most can hardly be detected by a human being already lol) I think Sanwa is making a BIG mistake with that design.... Many racers like what their used to with a radios basic design... Just my 2 cents

one of the clear advantages the m12 has is that the guy next to you on the driver's stand can now see their car when they are on the front section of the track, instead of you m11x's case, lol.

Here's a better question, You make it pretty obvious. Why are you making new usernames, after being suspended? Or how about, why are you manipulating your post's so they are not commercial?

This is what I did, too. I had that shrinkwrap on both lower and upper arm of the trigger. Fits well now.

Hi,

I posted same question on Tekin RS thread but no luck so could anyone share some info.
I have M11x + Tekin RS for my 17.5 stock onroard.
how do you guys adjust throttle curve and related setting?

1. Throttle Profile(Curve) set on speedo and flat on M11x(Throttle EXP and ARC).
2. Throttle Profile(Curve) set flat(liner) on speedo and adjusted on M11x(Throttle EXP and ARC).
3. Both of above.

I recently using pattern 2. It would be helpful if you could share how you setup your speedo and M11x.

Thanks.

Hi guys. I went racing yesterday and ended up going home early thanks to an issue with the range of my M11x.

It has been faultless until yesterday, but it just kept cutting out at the further point in the track (approx 100m max). I swapped out the receiver for a RX381 as I noticed a poor antenna wire on my RX451, but whist it was better, it still kept cutting out (like failsafe).

I changed the RX battery and it made no difference. I removed the side of the top of the TX but the aerial wire was fine???

Any ideas guys. I noticed the RX381 doesn't have the bared top on the antenna wire, so maybe it's not coax like the 451 and this affects the range, but I just don't know.

Could it be the antenna on the TX. It isn't broken and the small amount of wire visible looks fine, but I'm sure it can't be the TX itself as they are fairly indestructible in terms of their electronics.

Any help gratefully received (lol).

Default help with m11x calibration ti rs pro

Does any one know what i need to do to get my M11x to calibrate with my rs pro, I set my trims to middle(i quess tekin means 0) and epa's, dual rate set to max, throttle direction set to normal.
It still won't calibrate, neutral chimes, full trottle chimes if I set epa to 0, brakes will not chime no matter where i set the epa.
Does anyone have a suggestion? The rs pro is new. Carl

I had a issue like this years ago. Tried different receivers and all and it turned out be my lipo battery and regulator. This was not with a m11 though.
