On Saturday, August 8th Middle River Hobbies will be hosting the first ever Roche Regional Carpet Championship open to any / all pan cars. The race will borrow a modified version of the Reedy Race format -- offering four (4) rounds of heads up racing with three of four results being used to determine a winner for each of the classes.

Format

• Open practice when facility opens at 9am
• Qualifiers start at 12pm.
• Racers sorted into different heats and starting positions every round based upon car class.
• Four rounds of heads up racing!
• Three of four results count in your points total.

*NEW INFO*

• Double wide grids
• Racing heat target is to have four "rows" of racing (up to 8 cars/heat)
• Drivers will have a start from each "row" of the grid
• Position and heat assignment calculated based upon total entry count and the car number you draw
• Drivers will pull their racing # out of a hat and this will be their car number for the event
• Scoring / points awarded by finishing order in the heat. 1st place gets 1 point. 10th place gets 10 points.

*TIE BREAKERS*

• By taking the drivers’ number of 1st place finishes and if still tied, the number of 2nd place finishes, etc.
• If still tied, the single best run from one of the counting rounds is used.
• The throw out is never considered – it is thrown out for good.

1. 17.5 1/12th - Blinky ESC, Open Tire, ROAR rules
2. 13.5 WGT - Blinky ESC, Spec WGT Tire any brand, ROAR rules for everything else
3. 21.5 F1 Rubber Tire - Blinky ESC, Open Tire, UF1 technical (not racing) rules

Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd per class

ive got a crc 12th scale. Digital Futaba Servo already mounted. Not in perfect condition, just needs a little tlc and knowledge to be competitive. Im never going to get the chance to set it up right to race it again. Would love to see it go to a good home.
