you know the area i am talking about that cracks right . P-dub might not have an rdx bumper, actually i think i got mine from rubberneck before corally usa desided to carry them. My bumper also seems like it may be harder than the ones from corally usa. But i dont have a kydex bumper, and i only think they sell them as a package.

FlySTI: You knw the reason why i dislike the car, not about being jap-spec.

As for my thoughts with switch ill support lino with the RDX, even better when he makes parts for them cause ill be popular back home

Cant wait to test out those hyper tuned motors lino wish us luck for the weekend. Upadate you on sunday.

Lino, I finallt got to try the Hyper tuned C2 I got from you. Man, that motor had some power. It was used in my oval car were we run 19t motors, and first one to 50 laps wins. That motor gave me the power out of the turns I needed and had some good top end. Thanks for the HPs. It got qualified 3rd and ended up finishing up 3rd place. This was my 3rd time out driving 1/10th scale oval.

Carlos, way to go man… Glad you like the new motor.

We also had a good weekend racing at the annual RC Madness January Jam. There were over a 100 in attendance such as Jeff Cuffs, Jeff Dayger, Mark Smyka, Mike Mc$$, Eric Desrosiers, Frank Calandra Jr, Brian Wynn, Mark Strasnick amongst others. Jarrod Langlois ran great with his new Hyperform powered RDX ride. J-Rod qualified 5th in sedan stock and finishes in 3rd after the double A-mains. Jarrod also had a great day today in mod sedan setting TQ as well as the overall win. Steve Boice made the show in 12th stock by qualifying in the 8th position with Hyperform batteries, chassis and tuned motor. For the life of me, I can't figure out the final results but I think he managed to finish between 5th and 7th after things were said and done. Nice job by both you. Hopefully we can carry the momentum into the birds next month!

I also want to add that Chris Marcy and crew did a great job this past weekend. Thank you for a smooth race and great announcing.

How do I tune the motor for oval racing? Any help would be helpful. Thanks.

Well I finally get to post something about Hyperform in Canada!!! After a long Christmas break in the Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series (first race was in early November in Edmonton) we ran the second race in the four race series. This race took place in Lethbridge, Alberta and I am pleased to say that I was able to put my Hyperform 1/12th car into 2nd place in the "A" Mod!! The car ran flawlessly and I couldn't be happier (except for maybe a first place and less brain farts when driving...oh yeah, and be a little younger so the reflexs are a touch quicker!!haha ) I was also able to win the A main 1/10 pan open class with my Associated 10L2....so Lino, if your reading this....maybe a 1/10 pan chassis from Hyperform could be in the works!!

Anyhow, thanks Lino and Hyperform for providing such a stable and responsive car.

Recently picked up a almost new 12th scale car built up with the hyperform chassis. Was wondering what servo mounts work with the factory holes drilled in the chassis. The adjustable CRC mounts don't work and while I currently don't have a set...the AE mounts don't look like they would work either. The servo in question is a JR3650 digital.
Thanks

Lowrance- if you want to mount your servo angled the AE adjustable mounts should work fine.

Lino- thanks for all the awesome power this weekend. and also thanks for the wrenching and motor building again even though you were trying to race lol. hopefully snowbirds wont be a dissapointmant haahah.

Carlos- Try a red/green combo with 4499 brushes, should be dialed. Our hand wound d5 based 19t motors (if allowed at your track) would be even better.

John-Nice job man, send me a pic if you have access to one.

Lowrence-Jarrod is correct, the mounts are in the stock 12l4 position and work with the AE adjustable shock mounts. I have never tried a JR servo but the KO and Airtronics 12th servos work great. Enjoy the car!

J-Rod-You could never be a dissapointment to me...

Hey Lino,
Here is a pic from just after the race. The little dude in the middle is the kid who won the race, and 19 turn T.C. and placed 2nd in mod!! His parents own a hobby shop in Lethbridge, Alberta and he is a real up and comer. Thanks again for the smooth car!
