HI GUYS
Just some photos of the lifep04 rx battery (no regulator required )
Im in china at the moment testing the batteries with great results .
Have been tested with 2.4ghz multiple radios including futaba ,spectrum sanwa and ko with no issues .
up to 1400mah so far in hump and stick pack and they are lightweight excellent for buggies with most of the weight in the centre line like xray, mugen hobao etc .
The will not bulge during charging extensive testing has been conducted.

Any words on dimensions and when will they be available?

I saw another vendor somewhere that's doing these. Sound's promising but how do you charge them? I am not aware of any LiPo chargers that allow one to change the output voltage and these would need that or a all together new charger.

See if your charger has a "LiFE" or "LiFEPo" setting. All of my LiPo-capable chargers are also LiFE-capable.

My LiPo charger is a Duratrax ICE, I don't think it's LiFe ready but maybe if this battery type gains popularity a firmware update with LiFe could be in the future.

most chargers of today like will charge the lifep04 example the diamond back ,the bmax ,ice, much more, patrick and others in the software just look find the life is just after li po or lithium ion on the lcd screen most software on chargers follow the same sequence.
But in saying all this we will have a small charger that cusomers can buy with the charger for about $20 US this way you dont have to upgrade your charger at all.
dimentions are as follows
stick pack 84mm L x 24mm W x 15mm H weight 74 grams
hump pack 51mm L x 31mm W x 24mm H weight 79 grams

Well, since this is posted in the NITRO section, and this thread is about RECEIVER packs, the hour of running is in reference to how long these new receiver packs will power the receiver and servos. Not about running a 1/10th electric car for an hour on 1400 mAh.
