Now I haven't tried it, but I'd remove the motor plate brace as a last resort. Not worried about tweaking the chassis, but if you have too much torsional flex, you can run into issues where the chassis will flex in the corner and give you grip on turn in, but the chassis will unload that flex and "snap" you loose.

Some tips for rear grip on the YZ - if you are running this car near legal weight (or under) with its front weight bias, I see this car not wanting to transfer weight front to back.
Yes, moving the weight bias back will help this, but try using lower angles of anti-squat and rear toe than you are used to. People are accustomed to 3-4 degrees of both because "that's what I've always run", but with the smoothness of this car I'm having success with 2.5 degrees of toe and 3 degrees of anti squat

Can someone explain to me the "pills"? What each one equates to. And if someone could explain all the set-up sheets for the YZ-2 I would be extremely thankful.

Is the yokomo tranny top shaft the same as the kyosho rb6?

loose to medium bite track
I was wondering if any of you have gotten this car to work in lower bite setups. I am getting close on setup to my other cars, but was wondering if any of you have suggestion. I have taken off the waterfall brace and the l bracket screws but it doesn't feel consistent. Any more thoughts

Where are you at on added weight? Most of the people trying them on "high-bite" dirt seem to still be getting the weights up - look back a few pages for more on that. I'm out of the loop but I thought you guys were sugaring the dirt down there; still not enough traction from the track itself?

Put the waterfall back on. I posted what I run in every condition with just changing tires. I don't change much now. The waterfall will give you a more consistent car. Flex is great until it unsprings and leaves the car a mess coming out of corners. It will flex and twist and contort......then snap back violently

Here you go. I took out the center then I beveled the right and left sides to gain flex and allow the wire to clear. I'm also going to raise the waterfall up with 1.5 mm worth of plastic washers to better clear my wires

No sugar yet. Only use sugar during the summer....its coming soon. We found that sugar doesnt work till the temp goes up. We molasses the track when the average day temp is 65 or below and sugar when it hotter. I wish we just had clay in this building but because the building is basically covered and we cant control the inside temp...it would be hard to keep clay at the right moisture content/temp for it to work. Im just happy we have a place to race
