Well nobody else has shown up to run 1/18 scale. If we had a few we would certainly run them though.

If you get a car and still cannot find any tires, we should have some available. I know a few of us has a personal stash we could share. Andy from Procar, our track owner, will probably have some soon also.

As for why i asked about the 1/18th class. Ive got a opportunituy to get a XRAY M18 for cheap. I think its even got the Exotech Conversion Kit on it already.

Sounds like a great day of racing!

Jimmy,

Are you and Skippy running WGT now? I should have my car soon. Looks like we'll get to beat on each other here shortly.

Yes, Skip and I have cars now, and Bill E. and Larry Dean have cars on order. We have a couple other locals with 1/10 pan cars also.

Come on down and race with us!

Default World GT

Hey Jim,
Not sure what direction I'm going here. I exhausting all avenues to find a GenX10, but I need just a little bit of info.

I've never ran 64 pitch gears before, so I don't have any in my box. For pinions, where should I hover around for 13.5 on 4 cells?

Also, 12th scale, same thing. If I can't find a GenX10 soon enough, I'll order a GenX as everyone has them in stock. Pinion starters for these as well for 21.5.

Thanks!

I think we are running 96 tooth spur with a 35 pinion right now. Not sure if we are where we need to be or not yet. The kit comes with a 110 tooth spur I think, so a bigger pinion would be needed to get the same rollout. I am not sure what the biggest is that you can fit with that spur.

With the 1/12 17.5, we are running a rollout about 82 mm. I think I have a 45 pinion with a 76 spur, with a small tire. In Vegas, they were running 52/78 I think.

Not sure what you would need on a 21.5, but it is probably huge...

Grey/White/Pink/Yellow Rears (anything soft...)

A few of the new 1/12 guys are still running brushed setups. Speeds are all close btween brushed and brushless right now.

Default 4 Cell Packs for hire...

I'll be at the track with about six 4-cell packs this wednesday and sunday. If anyone would like to cycle them for me, on the track of course, you're more than welcome... I'll even bring my chargers....

I just cycled them as 6 cell packs about 2 weeks ago at Redline in my B44, and I think the bad cells are weeded out. They are all 4200 packs, so it should be worth your time...

We racing this Sunday? If so, is there anybody that would let me test drive there 1/12th car for a couple laps? Or is there somebody that has a spare car, that could rent one out to me? I never drove a 1/12th car yet. Raced a 1/10th Stock Foam Touring Car last year. But never drove a 1/12th.

Itll be a couple weeks before i get my CRC 3.1 up to race specs.

Yes, we are racing this Sunday. Stop by and we will be happy to let you drive a 1/12 scale.
