That's actually the 4th version of the Trinity Monster Horsepower Jr. stock motor that was produced.

I BELIEVE it is supposed to be a 30 deg. motor (some of which were actually around 35 degrees).

That motor isn't legal for ROAR or NORRCA races anymore.

More degrees = Less torque, more top end..theoretically..

Today's 24 degree stockers are faster than the 30-36 degree motors of a couple years ago.

is the Epic Binary 2 a touring motor? have you tried it? the 4 magnet design is supposed to be hot, according to RCCA

The Binary 2 is great for TC, but it doesn't really have the torque needed to get a truck moving out of a corner.

And it's not ROAR legal.

Yes; ROAR stock motor rules call for two-magnet cans only.

www.roarracing.com has the rulebook in a downloadable file.

All ROAR rules for IFMAR-recognized classes meet the IFMAR requirements (except for fuel, which I believe is limited to 25% at Worlds events).

Default Aaron...

The brush hoods will be aligned at 90 degrees from this mark, plus up to 24 degrees of timing. Only single piece (2 magnets in a can) or split magnet (4 magnets in a can) ceramic magnets are allowed.
I was looking at a rule correction on the website and it says that as a new updated rule... but it's under 19turn(just realized that) nevermind then!
