Default something fast

i'm looking for a nitro touring car that has a relatively high top speed to be used mainly for bashing on the road in front of my house, and in parking lots. i was considering the HPI RS4-3 SS but someone told me it wasnt very fast.

what would you guys recomend?

thanks

I believe the Type SS will get you to 46.? mph. I forgot the exact number. You can increase it to about 50 if you get a tuned pipe. I recommend the RD Logics one Piece pipe.

tc3's aren't very durable and hpi's usually arent fast except for the r40. I would get the mtx3 or r40! Best cars on the market and there very fast and handle much better than the hpi type ss

the mtx3 and r40 are only fast if you get a fast engine for them since it dont come with one

Whoever told you an SS is slow either cant tune or smokes crack... Go ahead and get the NTC3 it has far more hopups than the SS(I should know I have an SS) or the SS and Domo is right it will hit 50 with a better tuned pipe BTW RCCA tested the RS4 3 ss at 46.7 or so MPH, BTW speed isn't always what you want... The R40 and MTX-3 are hardcore racing cars made for the track an R40 is not ment for rough concrete.

Well said.

Also, compare the prices with the RS43 Type SS and R40 or MTX3 when you make it RTR. Price not very pretty is it?

He said he wants speed.

Come on you tell me.

Which car is faster. My MTX-3 with my Nova JP NS12 S5 in it.
Or your hpi type ss with its pull start engine.

I think we all no.

A good way to spend $1800AUS
